About this wine
From the Valley of a Thousand: ungrafted bush vines at 750–850 metres, organically farmed and foot-trodden in granite lagares. Intense, mineral and complex. Not a lunch wine.
Intense ruby red. Rockrose, resin, eucalyptus and clove beside currant and cherry. Powerful texture with fresh mineral acidity.
Roast meat, firm cheese or an evening when the wine is the conversation.
